Thank you for choosing Pacific Coast Physical Therapy.
We have provided the following information to help answer some of the more frequently asked questions regarding your therapy program. It is our #1 goal to provide you with the highest quality care and service.

Your Therapy Team
PCPT is proud to have assembled a team of highly qualified physical therapy and sports medicine professionals. Each member of our team is uniquely trained and certified by various associations in the fields of physical therapy, sports medicine and sports conditioning. On your initial visit, your physical therapist will perform an evaluation and will be responsible for your treatment and progressing your therapy program. Our team approach may involve the specialties of our staff and therefore you may work with more than one therapist during your therapy.

Your Therapy Program
Your therapist has considered numerous details when designing your program from your physician’s prescription, physical therapy evaluation, your current pain/activity level and changes in your condition. These details will be monitored continuously and changed when appropriate for your condition and your goals.

Clothing
It is best to be prepared for therapy in comfortable clothing that allows access to the area being treated by your therapist. Loose-fitting, exercise or workout attire that is non-restrictive usually is the most comfortable.

Hours of Operation
We are open for appointments 7am to 7pm Mon., Wed, Thurs. Fri.  Our last appointments are scheduled at 6 pm.

Scheduling
Maintaining the recommended frequency and consistency of your scheduled sessions will play a significant role in the effectiveness of your therapy program. The schedule of your program is determined by your physician’s prescription and your attending therapist recommendations. We strongly recommend scheduling your appointments in advance to ensure a convenient schedule.

Cancellations
In order to provide you with one on one attention and maintain consistency with your therapist, only one patient is scheduled per appointment.  Last minute or frequent cancellations significantly impacts our scheduling, and potentially your progress. In addition, a pattern of inconsistencies may affect the level of cooperation fromyour insurance carrieror case manager. As a courtesy to other patients and to our staff, it is very important to maintain your scheduled appointments on a regular basis or to provide at least 24 hours notice if cancellation is necessary.

Insurance Information
We have verified your insurance information and provided a summary for your convenience. If you have questions regarding your coverage, plan or payment you may want to confirm our verification personally. As a courtesy, our finance department will submit weekly claims to your insurance company.  We make every effort to ensure that proper benefits are issued in accordance to your individual policy.

Co-Payments
A pre-determination of your financial responsibility will be discussed with your initially to eliminate concerns about finacial obligations.

Your Home Program
You will be taught an appropriate Home Exercise Program (HEP), which includes specific exercises aimed at reaching your rehabilitation goals. It is of utmost importance for you to understand and follow through with these exercises independently.
